Overview
Hauling plants can be challenging. By following simple precautions, you can ensure your cargo stays secure and prevent accidents.

1
Prepare the Vehicle
Vehicle Options: Car, Pickup Truck
- 1 Inspect the Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is in good condition. Check the tires, suspension, and load capacity.
- 2 Clear the Cargo Area: Make sure the cargo area is empty and clean to accommodate the product.

2
Gather Equipment (Optional)
- 1 Plastic: To keep a clean vehicle bed, ask a store associate for free plastic lining.
- 2 Boxes: Recommended to keep potted plants upright and contain dirt debris.
- 3 Straps: Recommended to secure plant pots.

3
Load the Plants
- 1 Confirm Pickup: Take proof-of-pickup photos to document the plant's condition. Confirm the product is not damaged.
- 2 Place Upright: Do not rotate, tilt, stack, or place other items on top of plants as this may result in damages.
- 3 Distribute Weight Evenly: Secure the heaviest plants against the sides of the vehicle and distribute the weight evenly across the cargo area.

4
Secure the Plants
- 1 Use Boxes or Straps (Optional): Use boxes to hold plants upright. Or, use bungee cords to secure the plants in place. Be careful not to damage the plant.
- 2 Check for Movement: Ensure the plants are tightly secured and do not move when you push or pull the pots.

5
Drive Safely
- 1 Check Your Plants: Periodically stop to check the security of your plants.
- 2 Drive Cautiously: Avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, and high speeds. Drive slowly, especially over bumps and rough terrain.

6
Unload the Plants
- 1 Prepare the Unloading Area: Ensure the unloading area is clear and has enough space to accommodate the vehicle and plants. Under a roof is preferred.
- 2 Wear Gloves: Protect your hands by wearing gloves while handling the product.
- 3 Lift with Care: Use proper lifting techniques to avoid injury. Lift with your legs, not your back.
- 4 Place Neatly: Arrange the plants neatly at the delivery location, ensuring they are stable and accessible to the recipient. Do not rotate, tilt, or stack the plants.
- 5 Confirm Delivery: Take proof-of-delivery photo to document the condition of products at delivery.
